Where Is Home?

Is home where you have spent most of your life? Is it a place you can create or does it just exist? Can you have more than one place you call home?

For GIN, the answer is yes.

I have 3 places I call home. I believe that with time, one of those places will NEVER change.

Puerto Rico has and will always have a piece of my heart. For 18 years of my life it was where I lived. This small island in the Caribbean is home to the people I cherish the most.

I think the experiences you go through in life help you become who you are. It was in Puerto Rico where I decided what career path I was going to take. It was there, surrounded by many that I do not get to see often, that I decided what my next step would be. Which brings me to today.

I can sit down for a second and relax. If I take deep breaths and close my eyes, I can transport myself to this amazing place. I can hear the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean. I can feel the sand in between my toes. The sun is beating and for one moment I am there, in the place I will always call home.

Puerto Rico is where I come from.

It deserves its own space in my mind, in my heart and in my blog!

So, I am excited to announce the new tab on my page, PUERTO RICO
