With the summer coming to an end, I can’t help but think about when I was in school. For the past 20 years, when Fall came around I would get exited to buy the essentials for school. Yes, I was that girl in high school and believe it or not in college, whose notebooks matched the folders for each subject. To this day, I keep my pencils, pens and highlighters in my pencil case. Oh, and how can I forget, I kept a school bin in my closet for the past 4 years full of index cards, post its, crayons, colored pencils, calculators and anything else that I considered essential.
If I ever left any of my school essentials behind in class, my teachers and friends would have guessed it was mine. Like with everything else I own or wear, my school essentials also represented who I was. You can probably still find some glitter leftover inside the bottom of many bags and backpacks I carried around for the past 20 years. Who knows you probably can find a couple of bracelets, some earrings or even a headpiece that I have misplaced…(I own too many accessories)
BENRUS was re-introduced to the public on November 2014, thanks to the entrepreneur Giovanni Feroce. He purchased the company that was once founded by the Lazrus brothers. They back then had created a company that would modify the pocket watch that was declining in sales. BENRUS became a company that was supplying war materials for which they were awarded Army-Navy “E” for their outstanding production. Today, BENRUS not only sells watches but also apparel, bags, backpacks and accessories.
Stop by Flaunt Boutique to take home one of your own BENRUS pieces.
Until my next topic...
