One of the main things you should know about living in Puerto Rico is the battle against... HUMIDITY. For women, it makes it hard to have perfect hair. I was not going to let that ruin my plans for my 3rd date with Enzo.

Enzo and I enjoyed traditional Pitorro, known as moonshine by many people. Puerto Ricans make them in different flavors for the Holiday Season! My favorite ones are: café (coffee), coco (coconut), almendras (almonds).
We decided to go for a walk before having some appetizers.

The appetizers were amazing! Pastelillos (Turnovers) can be filled with different things depending on your appetite. These specific ones were meat and cheese. It is also very popular to make them with seafood. You have to try them! Stay tuned to see different recipes I will be posting very soon.
