Styling: Boho Is The New Chic
As much as I love the little city I live in, I am always excited to take a quick trip when I get the chance. Now remember, I come from an island, Puerto Rico, where you can't really travel by train, so I try and travel often. This weekend my destination is Boston, which only takes 45 minutes from PVD. For me, that's not long at all, one, maybe two FaceTime calls to catch up with my family and I'm there. Just so you know, I have a SMALL obsession with FaceTime. Let's be real, its a great concept to keep in touch with people that you don't get to see face to face often.
I'm traveling to Boston this weekend for the Flower Power Fashion Show, that is taking place at Minibar (51 Huntington Ave, Boston MA 02116) this Sunday. My outfit is Boho Chic inspired to mirror the theme for the show. Accessories are a must when it comes to finalizing any outift. Many say less is more, but I have my own opinion, the more jewels on my wrist the merrier. Stacking bracelets is deffenitly a trademark of mine (Bourbon and Bowties). Feel free to stop by Flaunt Boutique, inside the Arcade, where I will help you create a stack of your own.
When I hear the word "boho" my mind travels back the 60's and 70's. The fashion has definitely evolved from the hippie movement and transformed into more stylish looks. The Boho Chic style is trending since the beginning of Spring 2015. Bell sleeves, embroidery, fringe, henna tattoos are the first things that come to my mind. It may not be my favorite style of clothing but I am willing to try anything and give it my own flare.
Make sure to stalk my social media sites to get a peek at what Sunday's fashion show is all about.
PS. I will be visiting Gustavo Leon who you will meet soon on the blog!
Until my next topic...
XOXO
