Opening Night

You had to be there to believe it! It was PACKED. Full house for the opening night of StyleWeek Northeast. The audience was extremely excited to see what all the designers had to show!

EVOLUE Apparel opened the night!

If you saw the collection last year's collection this was definitely the sequel of it. Susan Zemaitis created a line using many of the same fabrics but giving it a more edgy look. A pop of color was added in some pieces. The floral patterns reminding me of exquisite Dolce & Gabbana pieces.

Jeffrey Dickerson was the next designer in the lineup. In high school many associated me with the letter G... Glori, Glamorous, Glitter, Glow. Memories flooded my mind when his pieces came down the runway. Jeffrey's collections always sparkle, which is probably one of my favorite things he implements. Of course, he included his well known capes, who are loved by many in the city of Providence.

After exchanging hellos with many, ordering a second glass of wine, posing for photographers the audience was ready for the last two shows.

Elan Rose Boutique presented by the Martini Factory was next. If I had to choose my top 2 pieces it would be impossible. There would be a tie between the skirt from the first look or the long cream coat. Definitely many in the audience agreed considering I heard the buzz about the coat later on at Circe Restaurant & Bar.

Susan Troy closed opening night with a darker color scheme. Loved the cut of the shirts; they were boxy and fashionable. Wouldn't mind making one of them part of my wardrobe.
